Get the look - Mendocino Coast Townhouse Bedroom

The Mendocino Coast Townhouse bedroom is a perfect blend of modern minimalism and bohemian coastal charm. It's a serene space that is both calming and inviting, with a muted color palette, natural textures, and clean lines. If you're looking to create a similar look in your own home, here are some tips to help you get started.

Start with a comfortable mattress

The foundation of any bedroom is the mattress. For the Mendocino Coast Townhouse, we chose a king-sized mattress to create a comfortable and spacious sleeping area. You can find affordable options for a king-sized mattress on Amazon or other online retailers. I will present you with an affordable as well as more expensive option. We used this mattress: (insert link) but if you want to splurge you can use this one: (insert link)

Choose Neutral Colors

When it comes to the color scheme, I chose neutral tones like white, beige, and light grey to create a calming atmosphere. You can easily find bedding, pillows, and decorative accents in neutral shades on Amazon as well.

Incorporate Natural Textures

To add warmth and texture to the space, we incorporated natural materials such as wood, fiber art, crystals, and jute. For example, I chose a simple wood mid century bed frame and added concrete style side tables. You can find similar pieces on Amazon or other online retailers.

Keep It Minimal

One of the key features of the Mendocino Coast Townhouse bedroom is its minimalist design. I kept the furniture and decor simple, with only a few carefully chosen pieces. For example, I added a fiber wall hanging on the wall, and a waffle throw blanket, and a sheepskin rug and pillows for a touch of coziness.

Add Some Greenery

Finally, no coastal-inspired bedroom is complete without some greenery. I added a vase with some faux eucalyptus leaves and a small potted succulent on the side tables to bring a touch of nature indoors. You can use real plants of course but since this is a rental I decided to go with affordable faux plants that won’t need to get watered.

Overall, creating a Mendocino Coast Townhouse-inspired bedroom is all about keeping it simple and natural. By choosing a neutral color palette, incorporating natural textures, and keeping the decor minimal, you can create a peaceful and inviting space that reflects the natural beauty of the Mendocino Coast.
