I’m Kathrin Smirke…
I was born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, and moved to Los Angeles in my early 20s to study performing arts and film production. Since then, I have expanded my creative pursuits and become a designer and photographer. Currently, I reside on the beautiful Mendocino Coast of Northern California with my husband Brian, our rescued Great Pyrenees Daisy, and our two adopted kitties Cobie and Bruno. This serene and inspiring region has become my home, and I am continuously seeking new ways to channel my creativity.
With diverse expertise in film production, social media marketing/branding, design and entrepreneurship, I bring a unique perspective to my creative work.
Being in nature rejuvenates and inspires me.
I make a conscious effort to reconnect with nature as often as possible. Immersing myself in the natural world makes me feel grounded and centered in the present moment. Whether I'm exploring the rugged coastline, hiking through the lush green forests, or simply sitting under one of my apple trees with my beloved pets and a steaming cup of tea, I always feel inspired and invigorated by the natural beauty that surrounds me.
